The number of people diagnosed with COVID-19 grows every day throughout the U.S. and across the world. The numbers on this page are based on the latest statistics available, and are likely far lower than the actual number of cases because of limited testing.
We know that at least 30 million people have contracted COVID-19 in the U.S. and more than 600,000 have died

The number of people diagnosed with COVID-19 each day plateaued after reaching a peak in late April, then peaked again in late July. This winter saw the highest numbers of cases reported thus far, with deaths surging as well.
